17th July, 2006 - It's been over two years since we've been married (March 2004), and finally T-chan's received her Australian Permanent Resident Visa... now attached firmly in her Japanese Passport. Ok, it may not be the same as citizenship, but at least now there's a feeling that T-chan's passed the last hurdle.Whilst the visa's not the most important thing in our life, it's perhaps not surprising that waiting on any immigration matter is stressful (no matter how routine it is).
Now we can start thinking about our future... as the next chapter in our life opens up before us.
